Inspired by the blend of cultures that make up his heritage, Eskandar founded his namesake label in 1991, focusing on knitwear before expanding his line into a full-fledged label with an immediately recognisable collection built from architectural shapes and unique designs that ooze texture and volume. 

Building on his knitting skills, learnt from his grandmother at a young age, Eskandar’s Initial knitwear line included pieces that were hand-knitted. The evolving 30-year-old luxury women’s apparel brand now leans away from trends and embellishments, instead focusing on a clean and simple aesthetic with high-quality knits that drape the body for a flattering fit. 

With traditional clothing underpinning each collection, every piece displays dialled up volume that guarantees comfort, style and opportunities for layering. Constructed from natural and noble fabrics, the collections offer a combination of luxurious and casual wardrobe staples, which allow for intelligent layering across transitioning climates.

The self-designed, beautifully curated stores each offer a unique eskandar experience. Flagship Stores are located in London, Paris, New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. With the most recent opening of The Online Store, eskandar’s collections can now be accessed on a global level.
